April Urban, M.S.S.A from Case Western Reserve University, is a research associate specializing in property research and consultation, focusing on code enforcement, foreclosure and REO properties and works closely with the community development industry to provide data and technical assistance in neighborhood stabilization. She most enjoys projects where she can work to aid communities in building their capacity to work with data, helping teach them how to use information to improve their practices and better the lives of people impacted by their work. She currently serves on the board of FutureHeights and volunteers with Open Cleveland, Cleveland’s Code for America brigade.

Cal Al-Dhubaib

Data Scientist in Residence at DigitalC

Cal Al-Dhubaib is a Data Scientist in Residence at DigitalC. In this role, he helps develop data science curriculum for professional training. Cal’s experience in analytics includes work for oil giant Saudi Aramco’s hospital network, founder of precision-medicine startup Triple Analytics, and partner in a data science firm Pandata. He has won multiple awards for innovation in predictive modeling and business management over the last five years, and is Case Western University’s first data science graduate.


Cherie Chung

Cherie Chung

Analytics Associate, DigitalC

Cherie Chung is a data analyst at DigitalC, where she focuses on helping organizations and individuals tackle challenges using data science/analysis and innovative tools/technologies. Cherie instructs, develops curriculum, and assists with strategy for the Learning Studio and the DataSmart Bootcamp. She also consults non-profit and government clients, helping them to discover and leverage insights in their data. Cherie is a Venture for America fellow and a member of the Cleveland Global Shapers. She is a Georgetown University graduate with a major in international economics from the School of Foreign Service. During her time at Georgetown, she gained extensive experience in the non-profit and government sectors by working and studying abroad in India, Bangladesh, and South Africa and interning at the White House Council of Economic Advisers and Booz Allen Hamilton.


Christine Hudak

Christine Hudak, Ph.D., CPHIMS

A member of the SLIS faculty since 2012, Christine Hudak, Ph.D., brings more than 30 years of experience in the health care field to the position. She is widely recognized author, co-author, and presenter on topics relating to health informatics, and is a peer reviewer for numerous professional journals, including the Journal for Nursing Measurement, Journal of Professional Nursing, and the Journal of American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Her research interests include educational technology in health care education, university based training for health information technology, use of emerging technologies in the delivery of health care, and consumer informatics. She has a Ph.D. in urban education administration and an M.Ed. in postsecondary education from Cleveland State University, and a B.S.N. from Case Western Reserve University.

Ellen’s expertise is in designing learning and coaching solutions that result in more rewarding people interactions and more productivity on the job. Ellen brings a fresh approach to the training and development experience. She is skilled in assessments that may help guide the coaching and training process and is a certified trainer in many nationally known training programs, such as DDI, AchieveGlobal, Inscape, MBTI, etc. She is a graduate of Coach U, a member of Coachville and the World Association of Business Coaches. She is a registered corporate coach and a certified facilitator in Experience Point’s Design Thinker.


Kauser Razvi

Director of Community and Developer Relations, DigitalC

Kauser Razvi is Director of Community and Developer Relations and engages with community groups, data stewards, and software developers in solving complex social problems through systems thinking, design, collaboration, and technology. The basis of her work has always been the cultivation of civic engagement and transformation of public sector and non-profit agencies through organizing and technology work that promotes transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness. Kauser implemented the first integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) for the City of Chicago and its 42 city departments, and the system won an award as the best GIS implementation for the State of Illinois. She then worked across all city agencies, park districts, schools, and libraries to create an integrated out-of-school time system to ensure that out-of-school programs for kids were funded, high-quality, and accessed by those in need.


Tim Hoolihan

 Sr. Director of Data Science and Analytics, DialogTech

Tim Hoolihan is the Sr. Director of Data Science and Analytics at DialogTech, a  marketing technology firm the focuses on the relationship between online  marketing and phone conversions. Prior to working in Data Science, Tim was a software architect and CTO. He organizes the Cleveland R User Group, and is the creator of a an upcoming video series on machine learning with R for Packt Publishers. He is an active member of the Cleveland technical community, regularly presenting at user groups in variety of topics related to machine learning, simulation, R, & Python.
